Product Manager: SaaS education/ productivity tool – PT/project

An experienced and entrepreneurial startup project leader.


Strong preference for applicants who can meet in Bondi. However applicants from anywhere considered.


Estimated 1-2 days per week for 4 months, ideally extended as agreed.


We are developing and launching an online education program to accompany Ross Dawson‘s new book Thriving on Overload ( This will be created at the highest levels of professionalism, to be suitable for use internally by the world’s largest corporations as well as by discerning individual entrepreneurs and professionals globally.

The program will include content such as video but will be centered on applying users’ input to build a customized program to help them create value with information in their daily routines.

We need a sophisticated, experienced Product Manager to lead the development of an MVP, the initial product, and a growth program in a very fast-paced and streamlined process.

The precise role will vary depending on the capabilities of the right candidate, but will include:

  • working with Ross Dawson to scope the project and functionality, potentially working with other specialists such as instructional designers
  • framing the product UX
  • preparing a specification for the MVP
  • working closely with external software developers to create a quality product
  • framing a launch and growth program, potentially with external specialists


The right candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in scoping and leading initial builds of SaaS MVPs and products using agile/ startup methodologies
  • Comfort working in extremely lean startup environments
  • Preferably experience with online education and/or productivity tools, including exposure to xAPI
  • Experience working closely with external software developers on software projects
  • Ideally strong experience in growth programs, marketing automation and funnels
  • High intelligence and a passion for helping people thrive on information overload
